Dear All,

We have the following issue with solution versioning upload in test tenat.

Below the versions status in productive and test tenant:

• Productive tenant: V8
• Test tenant: V9

We need to have the same version V8 in both systems. Seems that is not possible to upload V8 in test tenant because a new version exist, so we uploaded the V8 in test tenant as "Original Solution".

We want implements some changes to V8 but it is not possible to create a patch to the "Original Solution".

How we can delete or overwrite changes done on V9 and develop the new requests?

Dear Daniele,

Overwriting or only deleting the changes on Patch 9 would not be a feasible solution as you need both the solutions with Version 8.

You can follow below approach provided this patch solution is deployed to only this system and you have the older patch version 8 zip file.

1. Delete the patch solution Version 9 from Cloud Application Studio.

2. Upload the older Version 8 patch solution.

3. (Optional ) => If your use case requires Merge or Copy solution profile then please go ahead. NOTE - Make sure Original solution is enabled in both the cases.

4. Click on create patch for Version 9 should be in development and you should continue your development activity.

In case of any issues with the deletion or leftover objects, please report an incident to SAP.
