SAP CAI environment setup

Hi Team,

We are going to prepare SAP CAI enterprise environment setup. We got productive version license too. Could you please guide us on best practice, if we need different Cloud Foundry for Dev / Quality & Production separately or one would be enough

there are basically two options and both can be considered depending on your needs:

1. Use one subaccount only, maintain the destinations for your dev, quality and production systems in this subaccount and use environments in your chatbot to separate dev, quality and production. When using the system aliases functionality you can then select different destinations for each environment.
2. Use separate subaccounts for dev, quality and production and use export / import to transport the bot versions between the landscapes.
   Whenever you want to transport changes between the landscapes, you need to create a new version of your bot and then export / import this version. Same version can only be imported once.

If you want to have a strict separation and only move your bots to production at dedicated points in time, option 2 is recommended. If you want to bring also small changes quickly to your production bot, option 1 might be better suited.
