SAP BPC Embedded - Planning Locking

Hello,

my goal is to give to an administrator user the opportunity to lock/unlock the planning on a single keyfigure, but only for specific values of a characteristic. The other keyfigures must remain plannable for these characteristic values.

I tried with data slices in transaction RSPLAN but it seems that it's possible only to lock, for specific values of a dimension, all the keyfigures and not just one. Could the transaction RSPLSE be useful in any way?

Could you give me a suggestion?

Hi Gabriele,

data slices are based on characteristics only, not on key figures. RSPLSE displays transaction data locks, this has nothing to do with data slices.

One idea is to use a special version and to restrict the key figure using this version. Then you can use the data slice as usual. If you need the key figure data also in another version (the one used for other key figures) you can use a copy function: this might also be done by the administrator.
