SAP Analytics Cloud - embed one analytic application into another analytic application

I would like to build an analytic application in the SAC with the Analytics Designer, which calls another analytic application (with BW live access) embedded.

It is possible to call up another analytic application via NavigationUtils.openApplication(), but it does not appear embedded. It is always called up in the complete browser tab or in a new browser tab.

If I use the WebPage widget instead and enter the URL of the analytic application as address, I get the following error message in the browser in the Developer Tools:
Blocked opening 'https://<BW-SYSTEM>/sap/bw/ina/auth?sap-client=010' in a new window because the request was made in a sandboxed frame whose 'allow-popups' permission is not set.

Can someone help me?

yes, the initial application is already using a BW live datasource.

Hi Elke - did you find a solution?

I have the same issue, and it is the same regardsless whether you try to embed a story in a story, or an application in and application - as long as there is a live connection in the embedded object, then the issue occurs.

Have you found a solition?

Hmm - it is already fixed I guess - at least the feature is available from Release 2021.12

So I'll have to wait until we reach that release level on our tenant.
