Same role shows different views

Hi All,

We have an issue wherein a same iview shows different view when different users login to view the same
Can any one please help me why this difference has come . I don't see personalization option provided as well.

we are using CE 7.3 .Please help on this regard .thank you .

User 1 -> Role 1 -> Correct view .

User 2 -> Role 1 -> Different view .

Could you remove assigned iViews to R1 and re-assign right one..

Dont forget to clear you PCD cache after this is done.

The issue is same iview is attached to both the roles but its showing differently to two users .Please let me know whats wrong .thank you so much for your quick response

What differences are you seeing in these iViews ?

Is it showing different applications of WD or something else ?

It will be helpful if you can attach screenshots, if possible.

Above screen shot of the views that should be displayed  . This issue comes only in development environment rest in production its working fine .

Could you do following steps

1. Clear PCD cache from System Admin->support

2. Clear local IE cookies and check whether behavior is same.

3. Also check iView property 'Group based Layout' .(if you dont want headers in search criteria s)

This is the property which is changing layout. It should be set to 'No'.

No it didn't help can you tell me is it possible that the persobalization can be done based on the user id if yes can you please let me where to check in the portal as I am using 7.3 version .

I don't think personalization can be done on this level.

I am also using these kind of standard iViews. And the property('Group based Layout') mentioned

above causes this exact difference which you shared in screenshot.

We also had such issue, we asked user to clear their IE browser cookies so as to reflect change we did in Group based Layout property. And it worked.
