SAC - Filter Issue

I am trying to build a story which has two page filters Month & Week. Now if a Month is selected in "Month Filter" then the Week Filter should allow user to select the weeks corresponding to that month.

For example: If user selects "January" in the "Month Filter" then the week filter should automatically adjust to display "Weeks: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5" only and user can select among these.

Is this scenario possible in SAC?

as a standard, you cannot add 2 filters tied to the same attribute in the story.

But there is a kind of work-round:

1. Create date filter by range (input controls) and select fixed and select the desired deployment of the hierarchy (in your case, you need to create a year - month - week). Choose from below "Single Value Slider":

2. In the created filter you will have the opportunity to switch to weeks and your selection of weeks will be displayed simultaneously with the selection of years (in your case, months). But if a day is selected, there will be a calendar.

It can ofcourse also be implemented in a scripted Analytical application.

Maybe there are even simpler options in stories, write.
