Refresh Data Foundation Structure

Hi,

I'm trying to refresh the structure of a universe in IDT and its showing that few tables are missing from the database, but the tables do exist in the database server. Also I was able to create new universe pulling same tables with same credentials. Can you anyone please help me how to fix this?

But if right click on the Tables in Data Foundation and click on "Show Values", it will show you the values. - The reason it states as "Tables missing from database" is because there is no owner name associated for the table. - Hence you can follow the below Steps in order to get this sorted.

1. Open IDT and go to the Data Foundation.

2. Right click on the concerned table-->Change Owner/Qualifier.

3. Now specify the Owner name here and then click on OK.

4. Go to Refresh Structure and see that 1 table would be reduced.

5. Like this follow the step 2 and 3 for all the tables and you will see no issues in Refresh Structure.

Note: If you have all the tables coming from the same owner, you can press "Ctrl" key and select all the tables in the Graphical view i.e (Right hand side) and Right Click-->Change Owner/Qualifier. Doing this you will be able to change the owner name for all the tables at one go which will reduce your efforts to go on each table and assign the owner.
