Hi,
We keep on getting Http 500 error when we would load the QaaWS Url in web browser to check. It gets resolved everytime we restart the Tomcat server. We can't be restarting the TomCat server all the time just to resolve the error. There was a forum that mentioned that its a bug.
We also noticed that the more activities/users the more unstable the qaaws is, but when there are less users, it becomes more stable. Could it be because of cache problem? if so, how can i fix it?
We are using BOXI R2 SP5.6.
Is there a permanent fix to it? Is there a FixPack to fix it?
Please help!
Thanks!!

- The network team at your location should be able to answer if there exists a proxy in between your client browser and bo tomcat app server. If the network connectivity is being lost (for whatever reasons), the error you get is expected.
- At the time this error occurs, do you see your Webi Report server going down/restarting? You can monitor & note the process id (PID) of Webi server and after you get the QaaWS error, go back and verify if the WEbi server PID has changed? IF yes, it means that the server crashed but came back.
- What is Tomcat Max Heap Size / Max Perm Size settings given? You can find it from Start > Programs > Tomcat Configuration > Initial Memory Pool & Max Memory Pool value?
- What is the processor type/speed and RAM available on this server machine? What are the BO softwares/ servers/databases running on this machine?
