We are using Business Objects 4.0. Our database team is complaining that the audit database is too large. Does anyone know of a setting in the audit database that will archive data or clear out old data? Is this a setting I need to make on the audit database or is it a setting to change in the CMC?
Thanks for any suggestions/input!

Hi Gary,
New Features:
SAP BI 4.0 it will be possible to remove history from the audit database, via a parameter "delete events older than (days)".
However this is not possible in BOE XI 3.1 or lower.
For your reference see the SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.0 Administration Improvements:
Hope this help you as well. After completion of your activity please close the thread.
Thanks,
Daya

Did it work? It's my understanding that for large customers, this method will cause you issues. For example, our Event Detail table has grown to 349M rows in 4 months. That's over 10 times what it was on XI 3.1. We have dashoards that refresh every 10 minutes, but no way to exclude those from audits, so it's growing about 6,000 rows every 5 minutes. Any solutions?
