When installing CR for Visual Studio SP40, I get the following error message.
Version
CR for Visual Studio SP40 64b installer (VS 2022 and above)
Request clarification before answering.
R&D did find the issue and will fix it in the next Release,
Here's the work around:
I could reproduce the issue by just changing the region format to non-English, then launched the CR4VS64 installer it will get error.
The workaround is in the Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Region, set Format to English.
Or if user did not want to change the region format setting, that they need extract CRforVS64_13_0_40.exe, and directly run CRforVS64_13_0_40\packageCrystalReportsForVisualStudio64.msi. However it will get the blank EULA dialog:
We will fix this issue in next SP, this should be caused by the 32bit runtime removal in CR4VS64 package.
