Problem in STMS

Dear All,

Recently we have upgraded our Development and Quality System from ECC6 to EHP5.

After upgradation I have delete QAS STMS configuration from DEV system and add again as I have shift QAS server to another server (Host name changed)

QAS is added sucessfully. I have "check"  all three Connection Test, Transport Directory and Transport Tool. All checks are Ok.

But there three component mismatch between DEV and QAS. I have installed all mismatched component in QAS. Now DEV and QAS have same component.

All transport requests automatically copied from DEV to QAS. But when I press "Adjust Impoert Queue (Ctrl+F6)"  System shows following error :

An error occurred when opening the source file for reading.

03   RFC system failure
04   RFC communication failure

System Response

Transmission was terminated.

Procedure

Eliminate the cause of the error and restart the transmission.

Hi Nirav,

I feel that the TR stored in OS level is corrupted.

IF possible, ask your ABAPers to re-generate one more TR and release it.

Then you can try to import it in your QUA and PRD after testing.

Hi Nirav,

   Please confirm whether you are facing the issue only with this particular TR or all the TR's.

PLease test it by genereating a dummy TR ( may be a empty role) and move it to Quality for testing..

If it is working, then as I Said the the issue is with the TR only ..

Thanks for your reply.

I have created new TR in DEV. But I have to "Adjust Import Queue Ctrl+F6)".

After that also status remain as it is.

New TR in imported in QAS but it shows Red coloured. You can see in screenshot of my previous post.

Hi Nirvav,

    Please check whether there is any confilict in the Transport group/domain.

In simple, did you try to delete and recreate the TMS in all the three systems?

Dear Vimal,

I have delete and recreate TMS. But problem remain same.

The new created request was imported. But in STMS request log shows following error message. But changes are applied sucessfully in QAS.

Hi,

To fix the repaired objects issue.Please proceed as follows:

Check if you find back the entry( R3TR FUGR J1I7) in table TLOCK using SE16.

If there is an entry in table TLOCK then field TKORR will contain the transport request number which contains the unconfirmed repair.

Release the transport request and confirm the repair. SAP note 42379 describes the procedure in detail.

(or)

If there is no entry in table TLOCK then for some reason the repair was not confirmed meaning the repair flag is still set.

Reset the repair flag without transport using transaction SE03. SAP note 9949 describes the procedure in detail.
