Hey George. I work with Brian, and the features we need to use are partitioned tables, something PostGreSQL added recently, but PD doesn't have a clue about. Adding the functionality ourselves is always an option, but we would really want to avoid it if SAP is working on it.

The KBA (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2692104) changed today, though it still says that PG 10 and 11 support is not yet in the roadmap. f you're interested, I suggest you subscribe to the KBA, and annoy your SAP rep 🙂

George, I have annoyed SAP. I started an incident and had a great talk with Greg on the phone. He assured me that there was a specific call-out for the declarative partitioning, and CRs for V10 and V11. He said he talked with the developers and would update me with a timeline to have the new support added. That was very positive.

I'll just tell people it will be in PD17. 🙂
