Perform Tutorial using SAP Business Application Studio

Hi experts,

I was trying to follow the tutorial using the online IDE available at

https://cockpit.hanatrial.ondemand.com/trial/#/home/trial

but the tutorial refers only to local eclipse installation + ADT.

Can we not follow these tutorials using Online Tools alone?

No, ABAP Development (incl. SAP BTP, ABAP Environment) is exclusive to Eclipse with installed ABAP Development tools.

There are some community driven extension for ABAP Development in VS Code, which could be probably used in SAP BAS too, but I have'nt tried it so far ... and for that you have no official support of SAP + not all development artificats are supported by these extensions.
