Parameter passing giving error

Encountering a strange error - My application I had defined a parameter. It was giving a dump saying Invalid value in parameter.

I just created a new application. Assigned same parameter to it. That works!

Now point is I want to use the old application name only. But even if I delete it and create a new one, it keeps giving the same error.

But if I create a new application in exactly the same way, that works.

What is wrong here?

Looks like activated application that was deleted is still present as ICF node . Try transaction /nSICF

search under services, with ur trouble some application name....if its present there. u need to clean it before you can create a new APPLICATION with SAME NAME.

I already done all that - delete from SICF, delete from Transport request also.

But same thing! ;(

From SE80 when you navigate to webDynpro this has 2 subfolders webdynpro components and Webdynpro Application try deleteing the erroneous application if its present under the Webdynpro Application folder.
