Hi,

Got a simple question? Is it possible to access Outlook(User X) mapped to User Y of EP, on Windows(User Z).

I know that User X of Outlook could be mapped to USer Y of EP. But because User X of Outlook is different from the Windows User Z, you get a login window.

This login window spoils the whole fun of SSO.

Suggestions would be appreciated

Thnx

Hi Kirmani,

The SSO mechanism for the OWA iViews use NTLM. If NTLM is enabled and you logged into the portal with a different user than the operating system, you would get this prompt. I don't think this is possible because the Exchange Server by default checks the OS account.

However, if you are doing form based login to the Exchange server and NTLM is disabled you can use the app integrator or user mapping to send the params. Still not a "true" SSO solution because you maintain the credentials but it's SSO 99% of the time:)

Regards,

Marty
