Hi,
I just want to understand what are the implications on SAP applications running on Java? We have SAP PO 7.4 which is on Java stack, we use SAP Cloud platform extensions using Java, SAP Native HANA Development on Java.
I know there are other versions of Java and not just Oracle, but wanted to understand the to-be scenario post Jan 2019.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Leonid,
For client side the SapMachine is available instead of Oracle JDK:
https://github.com/SAP/SapMachine
https://sap.github.io/SapMachine/
The SAPJVM is still intended for Java servers, not for clients.
I'm not sure if it answers your question.
Best regards,
Antal
