Hi Cartesian,

Could you be more specific? A lot has changed and is new (e.g. ESS/MSS via WebDynpro, Adobe Interactive forms).

Hi Noel

I would like to find out more info on self service in erp 2004.

What role will the MSS / ESS Business packages fulfill? Do you still need to install the business packages?

Is there some kind of interaction between the EP business packages and the ERP WebDynpros?

Hi Rakhee,

There are 3 levels for using ESS/MSS:

1) Backend: ECC 5.0

2) WebDynpro Applications (java): XSS

3) Portal Front end: Business Packages

In some cases you need more, for example using Personell Change Requests requires Adobe Document Service.

The BP's is a set of iviews, pages and worksets. No functionality (except a standard navigation menu for ESS and My Staff and My Budget).
