Missing filter expression functions in HANA calculation views

Hi Gang,

All of the filter function expressions (like Date and String) are missing from filter expression functions in HANA calculation views - even ones which previously worked! I can execute old views, but not find new expressions to use in filters.

Ultimately, I suspect a Basis problem, but Note search is not providing useful results.

Does anyone know of an SAP Note on point? Or better keywords to use in my search?

What tooling you are using HANA Modelling Tools in HANA Studio, Web IDE or BAS? In case of HANA Studio, did you update to the latest version?

What SAP HANA version you are using?

XSA or XSC?

We are using Eclipse 2021-03 and HANA Studio. This is not a tools issue. Some process has stopped and I need to tell my Basis guys where to look.

I've only experienced these problems when the HANA DB version/revision was updated but my client tools not. Which HANA DB version/revision are you on?

Well, that might be the problem. I am using Eclipse 2021-03. Did not know SAP was still pushing HANA Studio.

Thought we were in an Eclipse to SAP Web IDE world.

Yes, that is true, if you're using HANA XS Classic then HANA Studio is still your friend (it's basically Eclipse), if you're running HANA XS Advanced then you have to use the WEB IDE.

Sorry, no. Still working around the issue using calculated fields for string manipulation and if statements followed by a a downstream filter. - John Hawk

Maybe you should open a ticket? I can see/use them in BAS / HANA sp05 (Europe) right now.
