I had previously used Blackbaud MDB files to connect with Crystal Reports. However today we purchased CR 2020 and the MDB files are no longer compatible.
I have received guidance on how to initiate the transfer of the files to be Microsoft Access based but am still receiving errors when loading the report.
Kindly advise if I may transfer my 2020 liscence to 2016 or how I may update the various files I use currently

The problem you're running into is because Crystal 2020 is 64-bit where earlier versions of Crystal were 32-bit. So, with 2020, you need to have the 64-bit access driver installed. However, there are some things you need to do to be able to install it side-by-side with the 32-bit driver. I've found the best instructions for how to do this here - it's for different software, but the instructions are the same. You'll then need to create a 64-bit ODBC DSN with the same name as the 32-bit DSN you've been using in order to connect to your data.

I am not an SAP employee, so I don't know whether it's possible to transfer the license over.
