What are the most important topics to cover to face an Interview?

Hi Anil,

The first thing you should know about MDM is the three basic scenarios that are used whenever we talk about MDM in Market because these three scenarios are the base what MDM is all about.

There are three basic scenarios that we follow in MDM:

Data Consolidation

Data Harmonization

Central Master Data Management

Consolidation :

1. Cleansing and de-duplication

2. Data normalization including categorization and taxonomy management

3. New interactive consolidation capabilities

Data Harmonization :

1. Automated synchronization of globally relevant master data information

2. New Interactive distribution capabilities

Central Master Data Management :

1. Central creation and maintenance of data

2. Ongoing master data quality

Console, Import Manager , Data Manager and Syndicator are the GUI`s that we use while maintaing our Master data.Just go through the Intoduction for all the four GUI`s through which you can have a brief idea about them.
