MDM Developer Role

Hello guys.

As an MDM developer, what is part of your role:

1. Import Data from XI using Import Manager

2. Using MDM Console to create Repository and populate it with Data

3 Syndicate the data using MDM Syndicator

4 .Convert Functional to Technical Specs

Is using an MDM Data Manager to de-duplicate the data part of Developers role, or it's MDM Super User's job, some one from the Business Side?

Also does the developer participate in Blueprinting phase, like gathering Functional Specs, or Developers job only to transfer them to Technical

specs?

Also please list some of the other roles of MDM Developer.

Hi Igor,

Yes Developer takes part in Blue printing and requirement gathering phase.

Developer has to create repository according to the business requirement in Console and then with the help of Import Manager it has to import data into repository which can be seen in Data Manager. In data manager you can find duplicates,add, delete, modify the records. For exporting out the records we use syndicator.
