MDG help

I am setting up the MDG right from the configuration stage .. (checking pre requisites etc as given on the SAP Help) , but there seems to be a lack of u201CHOW TOu201D guides . The SAP Help is rather difficult for a person with no exposure to MDG. Most of the material on SDN seems to be more like product capability , and marketing/positioning of MDG .

Is there any step by step help to realize a simple MDG solution.

Also for creating a simple MDG (e.g supplier ) solution, does one need BPM , Portals , or can manipulate the MDG toolset only to realize a working solution .

MDG applications are designed to run stand - alone in an ABAP stack.

One can extend functional capabilities of MDG by optional components:

SAP NW MDM - COnsolidation capabilities

TREX - Search and duplicate check

SAP BO data Quality Management - Duplicate check and address validation

SAP BO analytics dashboard

SAP PI -complex landscape integration

SAP Portal

Adobe document server for print forms and interactive forms

One can deploy as:

1.A hub

2.On top of operational ERP

NO it does not help , I was not askking about components and capabilities , but a STEP by STEP directions on configuring and implementing a simple MDG scenario !!!!

Well I would request you to use "!" in a more judicious way.

Hi folks

I have following queriers:

1. When MDM is in Scope, How feasible is to opt MDG also.I mean what points we can raise so as to convience the client that we wud also need MDG.

2.How is MDG different in Standalone or with ECC Suite.

3. If both are in scope How is the integration between MDM and MDG happens.
