MDG co-deployment scenario Initial data load and replication

Good day experts

My requirement is to set up MDGF for GL-create and change on MDG1909 co-deployment.

Please assist me with:

1. I understand we still need to set up replication for same client, is the procedure same as hub deployment and we just skip setting up the RFC connections?

2. Do we still need to set up initial load? If so can someone provide pointers. I need to create GL similar to FS00 in S/4 and assign it to a financial statement version. what data do i need for the initial load? am I right to use MDMGX approach?

Hi Saanvi,

Yes you are right.

1) Even if it is a co-deployment, we need to set up replication settings along with SOA configuration for all financial data like profit center, cost center, GL accounts. Please use below link for SOA configurations.

2) Also for initial load you can use MDMGX tool to download these data in XML format, upload them on application server & finally use Data Import Framework to upload data in MDG. If require you can use report 'KBAS_MDGF_SET_DOWNLOAD' to download hierarchy data & upload it using file upload functionality in MDG. Please use below link for more details.
