master data text are missing for 0matl_grp

hi gurus,

              when user run report few material group text data is missing... i checked in system in rsa1 on 0matl_text and i found text data is missing for few material groups so now what i need to do?? as user need the text data to be appear in query output..

if i need to load missing data for master data object... can anyone please tell me the detailed procedure for this as i never come across a situation to load missing data in masted data object.. thanks in advance gurus...

note: please respond as it is very urgent work...

Hi,

If you have data flow in place for 0mat_grp then you just need to run the infopackage---and then DTP to load the text data if you flow is 7.X.

In case of 3.X flow only infopackgae.

I hope you are aware of it.

If the flow is not in place then steps are already shared by Raman.

ya we are having data flow... so know i need to run info package with selection of those missed material groups?? and then dtp so that data will be uploaded... so after that when user runs query he can see the desired data...correct me if i am wrong..

Yes this seems to be correct...What is the update mode in infopackage if its deltaa then run it so it may pick all the text for new material groups.

If not then run for the selected material group.

Hi,

You can load full data, its master data, so no problem, its over writes.

Or as you said missing txt for  for 10 records only then you can directly maintain at info object level. save and activate master data (0MATL_GROUP).No issues/impacts.

Check at your reports.

ok and one thing data was loaded last year from then it was left untouched.... yes update mode of ip is delta... 

so now i need to run ip  and then dtp  after that attribute change run so that my issue will get solved... is this what you are saying me??? thanks alot 🙂

Hi,

No need to run ACR in case of text that only needs to be run for attributes.

The simplest solution is to manitain directly. Why unnecessarily getting into infopackage, dtp all this stuff. Anyway it is up to you..
