Issues while changing background filter value on a Data Source

I have a dashboard on Lumira Designer 2.1 which is having multiple data sources. I am trying to put a filter on one the data sources but getting the error attached in screenshot.

I have a copy of this dashboard where I am putting the filter of same attribute but having different value, its working absolutely fine but for this dashboard its giving error

Attribute Value = 10 or 20 or 30 are working fine

but if Attribute Value = 50, then the issue arises

Any suggestions on this would be much appreciable. Thanks!

Looks like the error is coming from backend. Did you try to create a webi / Analysis Office report on top of the same data source and same filter ?

Additionally did you update to 2.1 SP1? What version/SP of the BI Platform are you using?

yes, the issue is on BW, when I am running the query on rsrt its generating the same error "Numeric overflow". Any suggestions on this?

I am currently on SP0, will soon update it to SP1.

What is the source of the datasource? If it is a BW report, can you try executing it for the same filter for which you are getting issues?

Exactly, I tried running my query in rsrt and replicated the issue. but its happening for one particular value, if I am selecting any other value for selection then its working fine.

My guess is, on selecting the particular value for which error is coming, some KPIs are getting zero, and may be these KPI are getting used as denominator in another formula in BEx.

Dear Subham,

please go to the data source and click on "Reset Datasource". If that does not help, try to remove and add the datasource again.
In most cases this helps. (Those errors can occur when you have changed your datasource and afterwards changed the query, so that you have infoobjects stored in the datasource, which are already gone).

Hi Shubham,

As said Christian you need to reset your DataSource.
Sometimes it happens and I do not know why. but remember to record the Dimension and background filters that you have in your current SataSource.
