Good day,
I am currently working on implementing business content within SAP Datasphere and have encountered issues with the replication flows. The flows are inconsistent—sometimes they run and complete successfully in a short time, while other times, the same flow hangs and takes hours to finish, despite processing a similar number of records.
I've also observed that manually restarting a specific object within the replication flow often resolves the issue, and it completes successfully. However, when the system automatically retries the process, it tends to hang. Additionally, I have scheduled the loads, but they frequently end up locking because the previous replication flow is still running.
Has anyone experienced similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions for ensuring the replication flows run more reliably? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @wsamuel
unfortunately you don't write what system is your source? Is it S/4HANA, which release?
And most important if so ... have you checked and implemented all the notes in SE38 program: CNV_NOTE_ANALYZER_DI (see: https://me.sap.com/notes/3016862)
This is really vital... since there have been so many notes for Replication Flows during the 2023, until Jun 2024.
I try to keep my affected S4 system always up-to-date and luckily found no issues during the last months.

@MKreitlein, thank you for the response. Source system is S4HANA ONPREM, 2021 Release, SP 05 (11/2023).
We have implemented the SAP note. We will rerun the flows and provide feedback. Thank you once again!
Hello @wsamuel,
Did you find a solution for your problem ? I have the same issue with a replication flow from S/4HANA in intial mode which still running.
The note that you implemented was usefull ?
