Hi Expert,
I need some clarification,
if it possible to configure ChaRM for Dev-> QAS -> virtual PRD system.
Because currently PRD system in bulid state.Client expect to configure ChaRM for implementation phase for QAT testing.
So we have only Dev and QAS system in landscape.PRD bulit take some time to bulid.
So we are planning to configure ChaRM through Dev-> QAS -> virtual PRD system.it will work?
Please sugguset your comment for virtual PRD system use.

Karthik

Hi Karthik,
yes, it is possible to define a landscape DEV - QAS - virtual PRD
In transaction smsy define PRD system as virtual. Later on you can change this setting.
Please pay attention that you define the transport routes correctly. The transport buffer of the virtual system (Prod) should have the name, which will be used later on.
Best regards
Horst

Hi
@ Horst - Thanks for Update.
@Vivek - one more doubt, already if i created tasklist with Dev -> QAS -> PRD .
if i want to add any new system between the tasklist, ex: Pre-Production
Dev -> QAS -> Pre- PRD -> PRD it is possibe in same tasklist?
Also any constrain like implementation project or support project for new system addition?
Rg,
Karthik
hi,
for adding additional system into the existing landscape, yes, you need to adjust your transport route and logical component.
but if you are adjusting project where charm already activated, you have to close the active maintenance cycle
please read the question no 6,
•6. Changes in the logical components of a project where Charm is already activated
please check
Thanks
