IDES..

Hi Team,

I have a doubt....We are working in ECC6 IDES server,

I have assigned technical users 812 client and for

Functional Clients 800.I want to copy client 812 into DEV

server...It seems we cannot copy from IDES to DEV..

how far is it true...please suggest.

This should be possible. You might want to make sure that your DEV system and the IDES system are at the same Service Pack levels.

One other quick thing...

Be very careful and very deliberate when applying support packs to the ECC 6.0 IDES system. We no longer do this on our systems (we run over eight IDES boxes) since SP's have a tendency to break IDES installs.
