SAP IDES is International Demonstration and Education System IDES demo landscapes, they are preconfigured installations of SAP components, populated with the data and business processes of a fictional enterprise. This model corporation consists of several companies located around the globe with clearly defined and independent business tasks. SAP's worldwide training courses and customer demos are based on examples from the IDES model company. Its uses are that it can support self-study, organized training, functional evaluation, or individual business process modeling.
