Good Day,
I am hoping that someone here will be able to assist me.
We are deploying SAP to several hundred users within our organization. As part of the deployment and ongoing maintenance, a determination needs to be made regarding the current version and patch level of each customer's installation.
I have been able to pull reports regarding all our SAP GUI installations (using SMS) and from what I have been able to gather from internet searches, etc it seems that all the information I need may be contained in the four numbers that are associated with each installation's version, e.g. 7100.4.14.8944 or 7200.1.3.8945.
I would like to know if there is a listing of all the SAP GUI versions and their varied patch levels that show the associated version number that I can reference as I have to be sure that all our clients have the desired version and necessary patches.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
From your examples:
7100.4.14.8944 - release 710, patch 14
7200.1.3.8945 - release 720, patch 3
First number - release, third - patch level.
Second number - compilation version (possible), other - just an internal build version, as I think.
Use https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1053737 for receiving information about actual patch levels for SAPGUI.
