Hello,

I am trying to Create a gateway service for odata.

I followed the documentation for Flight example and Bank example too.

For both of the example the classes for the data provider and the model provider are activated and the system is running with the correct requrirement librarys too.

When i try to  add my service and make every entry and the correct packge at the end I get the message ICF node for the service <service name> not created. When i click the Technical service name in the Service catalog i see the OData is gray. I try to activate it through the ICF Node button I get the same error.

When i use the transaction

/iwfnd/apps_log

i see the error OData Lib 1.0 Handler   /IWFND/CL_SODATA_ROOT_HANDLER=CP    Handler_error.

Is there anybody experienced the same error. There should be a solution for this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Antony.

Hi Antony

you want to check in the Gateway, please put a break-point in class /IWFND/CL_SODATA_ROOT_HANDLER, method /IWCOR/IF_REST_HANDLER~HANDLE and debug you will get correct error.

Thanks,

Syam

Hi Syambabu,

Thannks for the reply.

I solved the problem.

It was just the authentication problem. When i used the Tcode SU53 i got the result that i did not have enough rights to activate the services.

I contacted my help desk and thet provided the correct role authentications.

Now everything goes fine.

Regards,

Antony
