How to Send SMS through Workflows?

Hi Everone,

We have a Workflow for Purchase Order Approval Process, Now the Business wants an SMS Notification Been sent Approvers.

I suppose I need to create a step in a workflow for this... But I am not sure of the process, so Please sent me steps that I need to Follow on implementing this chnage to the workflow.

Also Please send us the configuration that need to be maintained for this .

Hi Kandaraj,

I am not quite sure about sending SMS through workflow.

but i did implement SMS sending(using GSM Modem) and processing in java. This is actually programming serial port where the GSM modem is connected.

if it is of useful to you let me know.

Please stop putting e-mail addresses in your post, as it is against forum guidelines. If someone has a good document he or she should make it available to the community in stead of sending it privately, as this community is about sharing knowledge and helping.

As Martin mentioned,if you have detailed document you can put in blog, so that everyone can use of it. So dont ask their id and send to them privately.

However, I saw a problem which I had dealt with before and I had made a document for that so instead of writing everything here (for which I didn't have the time), I just sent it across to him.
