How to compare Dev Package

Hi All,

I need to compare Dev Package -> LVS in DEV and QAS system. Can anybody tell me what these package are for, what to check in these packages and how to chack this( I guess its from SE80 -> Package -> LVS, please correct me if i am worng).

Hi Amit,

The LVS system is an integrated system with SAP.

This system is german made and it's a powerfull tool for managing a warehouse.

You may user Transaction code SREPO - Repository Comparison

PURPOSE

Mass comparison of the repository between two SAP systems

(More details and instructions are available in SAP Note 1368474.)

PREREQUISITES

1) Both SAP systems must have the same release and support package level.

2) The package SCTS_COMP_SYS must be installed in both systems.

3) An RFC connection must be configured (transaction SM59).

You can compare the following sets of objects:

1) Objects in a package

2) Objects in a transport request or piece list

3) Objects of a user

4) Objekte in an application component

5) Objects in a namespace

6) All customer objects

7) All modified SAP objects

Output:

Object list containing information about the version comparison

Green ---- Identical

Red --- Not identical

Yellow --- Objects cannot be compared directly
