HANA STUDIO INSTALLATION JAVA ERROR

Dear Experts,

While installing HANA studio on my laptop, I get the following error:

          ERR: NO JAVA INSTALLATION FOUND(VERSION 1.6 OR 1.7, 64 BIT REQUIRED)

But I do have Java runtime 1.6_0_24 installed on my laptop.

Can you please help with, what I may be missing?

I simply added JAVA_HOME with path to jdk1.7.0_72 and restarted the installation. Left PATH untouched.

Sharing since I wasted an hour today trying to get this working!

I faced this issue and made few screen shots to help others.

1. As suggested by experts added  JAVA_HOME

2. After installation  first try to run by clicking the shortcut , if you get any errors then try to run as admin .
