HANA STUDIO INSTALLATION JAVA ERROR

Dear Experts,

While installing HANA studio on my laptop, I get the following error:

          ERR: NO JAVA INSTALLATION FOUND(VERSION 1.6 OR 1.7, 64 BIT REQUIRED)

But I do have Java runtime 1.6_0_24 installed on my laptop.

Can you please help with, what I may be missing?

Hi All,

For all thos who are facing JAVA related errors while trying to install HANA Studio Rev 80, please proceed as follows -

1. Uninstall all JAVA setups/plug-ins already installed on your machines

2. Download & Install Java 7 Update 21

3. Install HANA client

4. Install HANA studio

These set of steps will resolve all JAVA related errors.
