HANA STUDIO INSTALLATION JAVA ERROR

Dear Experts,

While installing HANA studio on my laptop, I get the following error:

          ERR: NO JAVA INSTALLATION FOUND(VERSION 1.6 OR 1.7, 64 BIT REQUIRED)

But I do have Java runtime 1.6_0_24 installed on my laptop.

Can you please help with, what I may be missing?

I have the same problem.

Win 7 64bit.

Java in Program Files Folder.

java version "1.8.0_05"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_05-b13)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.5-b02, mixed mode)

Does it means, that HANA Studio is not compatible with 1.8 Java?

Hi 

Java 1.8 is Compatible with HANA Studio. I have installed on Win 32  did not try for Win 64 though.
