get_object_definition - documentation and value extraction

Hello,

SAP HANA Platform version 2.00.000.00.1479874437

While searching for Oracle equivalent of DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL, get_object_definition procedure was suggested on forums.

I could not find a proper documentation about how the procedure works and how one can control the inclusion/exclusion of object constraints, triggers etc. in the output.

Is there such a documentation available?

Also, how can I read the content of OBJECT_CREATION_STATEMENT into a variable, for further processing?

GET_OBJECT_DEFINITION is an internal HANA package. It's not supported externally nor is it documented.

There is no official equivalent for DBMS_METADATA in HANA.
