Hi, note 2417298 "Integration of Business Partner with Customer and Supplier Roles" contains the allowed BP APIs.

CREMAS and CL_MD_BP_MAINTAIN both allow WYT3 maintenance.

Hi,

I guess I would have used a CREMAS idoc. Either in an LSMW (idoc option) or directly via a program to generate the idoc.

Other option would be an LSMW recording using the RFBIKR (but not available on S/4)

How do you create your vendors in general? It is unusual to expect a BAPI just for a small part of data maintenance. If there would be a general BAPI for creation or changes then this would usually include the partner functions.

Transaction "BAPI" should be your starting point to search for a BAPI.
