FTP Server Connection Error

Hi All,

I have installed a local ftp server on my machine.

I am able to connect to this server using normal ftp client and web browser as well.

But when I specify this ftp server address in my rcvr communication channel, it says..

Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server "IPAddress": java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

Could you please help me to figure out the prob.

yes..

probably the xi system ports for my local machine are closed as none of the servers(like ftp, mail) installed on my machine are being connected to xi .
