You can see the current list of available SAP certifications here. https://training.sap.com/certification/validity

The entry level for ABAP developer now is C_TAW12_750. https://training.sap.com/certification/c_taw12_750-sap-certified-development-associate---abap-with-s...

You can take courses and study for the exam but in my opinion, starting building hands-on experience first and then test your knowledge in the exam is the way to go.

If you have ABAP environment you can access via your college, I recommend going through all the ABAP topics in the certification.

If you do not have ABAP environment in your hand, you can:

Apply for Learning hub and practice ABAP hands-on in the courses. https://learninghub.sap.com/

or

Host your own SAP ABAP Platform 1909 Developer Edition following this blog.

The whole setup takes a lot of time and effort and you need strong hardwares(24 GB system memory, at least 4 GB RAM and 100 GB free disk space).
