Fields in extractor with no values

Hi,

There are 2 fields added to an extractor in BW which has no values in then when I view the PSA.

But users claim there is value in the ECC source system. I also can't view the data in these 2 fields via RSA3.

Can someone help me to trouble shoot how to view data in ECC source system and why the data is not flowing into the extractor?

Please advice a.s.a.p.

Hi Rebekesh Sunil kumar,

As per as my Understanding, when run the extractor in RSA3, you may not see the data in newly added records of Extractor as well as PSA.

Please find my suggestion below:

1) When you add fields whether  Standard / Custom Extractor  it just add the fields in template.

For example: ZXYZDATASOURCE is data source.  You add the field YNEW.

2) If you want to view the data of YNEW in ZXYZDATASOURCE, you need to write exit.  The exit will populate data from ECC table.
