Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT, InfoObject 0COMP_CODE

Hi

We just upgraded our BI system. Now I have loaded the data from souce to our PSA successfully. Now when that DSO is activated, it failed with the below messages.

Data Package 000014:

Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT, InfoObject 0COMP_CODE

Syntax error in GP_ERR_RSDGTMPLIR, row 460 (-> long text)

SID determination finished for InfoObject 0COMP_CODE

Process 000014 returned with errors

May I know how do I find the error accrately, as I could not find any data error. Is it saying the error is in the column of 0COMP_CODE ? It has all right values. Can anyone suggest to accurately find out the error ?

Hi,

Are you reporting on this DSO? In that case you may uncheck "SID Generation upon Activation" setting in DSO. I reccomend that instead of going to the root of this problem.

If you need SIDs created, then go to tcode RSRV. It will give exactly which value is throwing error and what.
