ERROR: timeout during allocate

Hi ,

after creating RFC's from Solution manager to Managed system, the BACK rfc getting error as "ERROR: timeout during allocate".

Logon    Connection Error

Error Details    Error when opening an RFC connection

Error Details    ERROR: timeout during allocate

Error Details    DETAIL: no connect of TP sapdp71 from host iginsapvar01 after 20 sec

Hi Govardhan,

Please recheck the following notes regarding your issue.

948636 - Starting executables locally using
638701 - Starting RFC servers takes too long

566566 - timeout during allocate, syslog R49 CPICRC 027 SAPRC 456

827872 - Work process waits for registered RFC
413708 - RFC library that is current at this time


I think if you set parameter rfc/use_gwstart in the profile this
would solve your issue.
       rfc/use_gwstart = 1
Please see Notes 638701 and 948636 concerning this parameter.
