error message "namespace is not defined in software component version"

hi,

I am a new learner of XI. When I add a new namespace into my software component version in IR, it always prompt an error "namespace is not defined in software component version". Can anybody help me ?

hi xiang,

wen do u get this error? as soon as u "add" ur namespace...i.e. wen u hit the "+" mark?

make sure after adding a new namespace u need to save and activate it first and then create any objects.

I have solved it .

I didn't activate it first before I created objects.
