HI,
Can get an answer to below ...
1) Do we need to make any config under SPRO for routing Travel requests / expense reports for Manager to approve under "Travel Work Center" ?
2) No work items are creating once an employee created travel request from Portal, do we need to activate any WF to creating Work items ?
3) Do we need to make setting for POWL though we are using "Travel Work center" ?
4) Is there any document that illustrates required config in detail for "Travel Work Center" approvals ?
Thanks

Hi Mohan,
If you are trying to execute your workflow directly from SWDD, then you need to enter the key fields of TRIP container element while executing the same. If you simply press F8 to execute your workflow, your main TRIP container will not be populated and this will result into an error.
If you are trying to trigger workflow from standard transaction, then you should activate your workflow by clicking on A button and make sure that binding is correct.

Richa
Hi Mohan,
Clearly , your Trip BO didnt get initialised. Please check by the container log whether a proper instance is getting created for the same or not. May be your key ( trip number ) is not correct or somethying. Suggestion is , check this in SWO1 by directly creating instance of TRIP.
Do let me know if you need more information.
Thanks
Rakesh

Open the container tab (same screen of your screenshot). Open the Trip container element. Is it initial? If (and when) it is initial, your workflow will not work. You need to populate the Trip container element. Most likely your workflow is started with an BUS2089 event. Open the workflow builder SWDD and your workflow template. Go to the basic data and the start events. See if there is a problem with the binding (from event to the workflow).

Karri

Hello,
It says: "No valid object in container element "Trip" How does it normally get filled?
It could be a binding problem between starting event and workflow, but I'm just guessing.
Has this ever worked? When did it stop working?
regards
Eick
