emails workflow not working.

hi all,

I have a issue here on Workflow. I have created a simple workflow , I have inserted the mail option in Workflow , but mails are not triggering to respective mails.

As shown in the above screen shot, it is struked at the mail id flow.I hope if the mail options given in the workflow the cycle will gets completed .

Hope you understand the issue here.

Please help me out to resolve this issue.

ex: if they have 3 release s tragic group a1, a2 ,a3 .

Hi Santosh,

I think you need to first check the customizing in SWU3. Refer the below link for assistance.

Then also check in workflow log for any errors at the mail send step. Also make sure that you have entered the correct recipient ID for the mail.

For eg. if you need to send mail to SAP mailbox of user 1234, check if the user ID is like US1234.

For sending mail to external ID there is a basis configuration to be done.

Hi,

1) Go to T.code SBWP

2) Click Create New message

3) Enter the Subject & Content of the mail

4) In the recipient address give the email id

5) Then click send

6) Goto T.code SOST and check an entry found

7) If not found, the SCOT configuration have to be done check with the Basis Team

😎 If found select the entry and click execute and check you email

9) If the mail comes fine then in the workflow you have to check whether youu2019re passing the valid Email id or not

Hi,

Your problem is not clear. Check if your workflow system is properly configured in SWU3 tcode.

Diagnose the workflow log either in SWEL or SWI1 and let us no if your workflow is resulting into error or something.

If yes, let us know the error.

i have checked everything its is fine and also workflow will complete without any error ,but mails not tiggered

coming.

but i am getting 2 waring message.

1 . No start events or start transactions/forms

2 . Container element Return is written, but not read/exported

Hi,

Just open your send mail step and go to control tab. Check if the binding is done properly.

What is the value that you have binded to &ADDRESSSTRINGS&.

You are not receiving mail in SAP Inbox or Outlook.

I think with wflow you have built you will receive mail in SAP Inbox.

For Outlook mail the SAP User Id needs to be populated with valid email address in SU01d transaction code. I will suggest you to compile the email address in a custo method and then use it in the send mail step as Agent Assignment Type as Email.
