Email from Workflow.

Hello Gurus.

we have Work flow for Purchase order release strategy.

Now in our customisation we have change the Agent id name.

But work flow do not send any SAP Email to that Newly Agent id.

Workflow works fine before changes in Customisation.

I also have checked in Workflow log, system shows Newly agent name and send SAP Email By Executing Manually.. But this is Manually process. System Do not send Automatically.

Hi Riten ,

You need to check the workflow template.

In the workflow Template how the mail is sending from the workflow.

If it is sending from workflow then you need to check how the Mail ID populated in the workflow.

It may be hard coded some where. Please check the logic behind this.

Hi,

Check if attributes of generic task are General or if it's classified or if it's locked.

Hi Riten

Check from SWDD t-code any emil step is added if not added. Check all the activity step where in the logic of mail would have written inside method or check any user exit or BADi if the mails details are not available in workflow. Check any condition is maintained.

Hi,

if you select "Recipient Type" as Email address wheater you pass as variable then you have to check in tcode SOST ? Is your SMTP node is configure properly or not ?

We do not configure for external email. We just Use SAP Inbox Id.
