How does master data get managed effectively when it comes from different sources like suppliers, tools, and applications?

hi sherry,
when you import the redundant, duplicate, non-qualified data in mdm, mdm used to remove redundancy, do de-duplication, and excute qualified data by the processes like matching and merging, validations, assignment etc. so you can manage your data in different repositories relevant to particular module for eg we product repository, material repository etc, you can create your own also.
also we dedicated terms like taxonomy and hierarchy to manage the large amount of data(this is done in mdm data manager).
