Hi Experts!

My Workflow works perfectly, but for a particular user, the documents in the inbox simply do not appear.

Can someone tell me which objects determine this view the profile of this user?

Do they appear in SWI5? Does the workflow log (SWI1) show the user as a recipient?

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your help!

By SWI1, I see the completed tasks and the user's address correctly but the user does not view the document in your inbox.

Some additional suggestions?

Hi Leandro,

I had assumed that there were workitems awaiting the user action, so my bad.

Is your workflow supposed to send a document to the user who executed a task upon task completion?  Because if not, them I am confused as to why you would expect a completed workflow task to show up in someone's documents.

Perhaps you should explain your scenario more completely?

Hi Susan!

Thanks for your help!

Exactly!

After completing the task, the WorkFlow send a response to the user who created the event, and this response is not showing up in your inbox in "unread documents".

Then I would look more carefully at the workflow log, in particular the step which is supposed to be sending a response.  I always find the technical log is the best way to view it (but your mileage may vary)

Hello,

So we're talking about emails here? It could be that SAP is set up (in SO16) to forward the email to the user's external inbox (e.g. Outlook). What happens when you send an email to their SAP username in SBWP?

Check that mail step in SWI1 for errors.

regards

Rick

Hi Leandro,

Have you looked at the workflow technical log as suggested?

Hi Leandro,

I am going to assume that you know for a fact that this user should be a recipient of Workflow (and/or documents, which of course are absolutely different things).

In the case of no Documents showing, I would say to check the user's authorizations with your Basis/Security team.

Good luck,
Sue
