Different User Interfaces for MDG-S Change Request

We would like to design the user interface (UI) in MDG-S based on the change request (CR) types.

For example: we want several different CR types with unique UI for processing the A-data of suppliers.

Among other designs, we want to implement following UI designs:

  • CR-type 2.1: Processing without display of bank data
  • CR-type 2.2: Display of company data, only processing of bank data possible

How can we set this up?

In following sources I haven't found anything:

Master Data Governance for Supplier | SAP Help Portal

Hi patrick.c.,

I see two possibilities here:

  1. Leverage CBA and define multiple adaptations of the standard UIBBs, probably based on "CR Type" and "WF Step";
  2. Create multiple copies of the FPM Configuration BS_SP_OVP and link them to the desired "CR Type" and "WF Step". This can be done in MDGIMG under "General Settings --> Process Modelling --> Change Requests --> Configure Properties of Change Request Step".

Best,

R.

For your requirement -

1. Copy the standard MDG CR into a custom CR.

2. Go to technical specifications setting in the UI

3. Select UiBBs which you want to hide

4. Change the visibility settings.

But do you really need to use multiple CRs because if your requirement is to set the visibility of UiBBs in MDG based on roles/Authorizations that can even be done dynamically with a single CR.

Hi mallikabera,

thanks for your reply.

When the visibility setting for UiBBs is changed it for all MDG-S processing CR-types.

That's why I asked my quesion.

How can I separate the UiBBs so that I can change the UiBB of one CR type independently of the other types?
